Cloudapp Launches Chrome Extension

CloudApp - screen recording tool

CloudApp, the excellent screen recording tool, recently launched a Chrome extension. Now you can easily take full page screenshots and record your screen within the Chrome browser.

Take a look at these features:

Screen Recording – record your screen, your voice or your webcam

Found a bug that is difficult to explain? Record a short video showing exactly what is happening on your screen.

Capture Your Screen

Take a screen capture of your screen, easily take full or select parts of your desktop and annotate screenshots to highlight exactly what the issue is. You can even capture GIFs and annotate them to show what the problem is if it is a bit more complicated.

Instant Upload And Shortlink URL

When you take a recording or screen capture, it is uploaded immediately to your CloudApp account and you get a shortlink URL. This makes it very easy to paste the URL into Slack or into your bug tracking tool, such as Jira, or even a project management tool like Trello.

CloudApp has a free forever plan, although it has some restrictions such as GIF capture and screen recordings are a maximum of 15 seconds. Pro plans start at $9 per user and screen recording lenth is then unlimited (although GIF capture is limited to 1 minute).
